On Sunday, Mitsu came to Gunma and since neither of us had been to the Shorinzan Daruma shrine in Takasaki, we went. Apparently Gunma prefecture is the leading producer of Darumas in Japan, with Takasaki making 80% of Japan’s darumas :O.
We wanted to also see some kōyō (autumn leaves) but thought they’d be gone by now. We got lucky and there were still some trees with kōyō about 😀 and lots of carpets of leaves.
