Rediscovered: Benefit High Beam Luminescent complexion enhancer

Recently I have been loving a product that I have actually had for a while but just never used.

That product is Benefit High Beam.

In all honesty, I am actually not a fan of Benefit’s products, I generally find them to be over-hyped and over-priced. However, I do like their High Brow pencil and now this product.

I only have this in mini form which I got free with a magazines quite some time back. At the time I remember thinking it was far too shimmery for the day but it could work for evening looks. But as I seldom go out clubbing, I consequently never used it.

Until now that is.

For some reason when I was shopping my make up stash back in the UK last Xmas, I saw this and decided to bring it back to Japan with me.

I am very glad I did.

For the last 2 weeks, I have been wearing it on the top of my cheek bone and I feel it adds just the right amount of glow for my daily make up look. Initially straight out of the tube, it looks a bit scary and shimmery but once blended in, it creates this gentle dewy sheen.

Makes me wish I had brought over my other mini Benefit products now.
