Whenever he goes away, he always asks “is there anything you want ?” Usually my answer is just MAC Ruby woo!!!!

As I wasn’t able to pick it up when I was in the UK, and it is not sold in Japan. :O

Sometimes though I ask for specific things, so last time I asked for a drug store in-shower moisturiser, like the Nivea one. He came back with this…L’occitane Shower oil and an apology “Sorry, this is the only one I could find. I couldn’t get the one you wanted”. Ehhhhh? …..I don’t get it either. He doesn’t need to apologise, he doing me the favour and besides I just wanted something like the Nivea one. ANYTHING to help the eczema I was getting over the winter. It was driving me a little insane, as it was soooooo itchy! In all honesty, I was surprised he bought this one. L’occitane to me is kinda of a higher end brand and so I’d never tried anything from them before.

Anyways… I really like this product. It contains almond oil, which I am usually not a fan of. I dislike marzipan ( with a passion) and most things containing almonds to be honest, but this smells divine. It reminds me of a holiday I had in Greece when I was younger.

How do you use it? Well, you use it just like you would a shower gel. Dispense a little and rub it on and rinse off. However, it makes a usually mundane task, very indulgent and relaxing. I love using this product, it is especially nice in the winter time. Imagine, it’s cold outside, you don’t want to get out of the shower. Hot shower, steam plus this shower oil equals just bliss. After I used this, I felt like my skin is a lot more moisturised and not as itchy. I think I have found my dry skin shower product :D. I hope :O and I can buy it in Japan.

Have you tried this? What your favourite shower/bath product?

Thanks for reading. Alanna
