Most loved in March.

March felt like a long month. Work was super busy and I ended up having to cancel a lot of my plans because I needed to do over time and I got sick.

This month’s most loved post is all about the eyes.

I think I made myself a bit sick of bright lipsticks after the lipstick challenge and most of this month, I have been wearing a nude lip and trying to add a little bit of colour in my eye make up instead.

Easiest way to achieve this is with coloured eyeliners, which I have surprisingly few of. So I found myself really lusting after a beautiful teal colour from L’oreal but as it looked like it wouldn’t sharpen well, I didn’t buy it. Instead I picked up some pencil liners from Etude House and Holika Holika.

I’m still looking for brightly coloured liners, but for this month I am loving Holika Holika’s Jewel-Light Waterproof eyeliner in #16, which is a gorgeous deep purple. It adds a subtle hint of colour but defines the eye well and lasts all day.

I also rediscovered an old make up love in the form of MAC’s Satin Taupe. One of my favourite everyday nudes and combining it with Maybelline’s Color tattoo in Endless purple has been one of my favourite looks this month.

I’m feel like I’m always looking for THE best mascara. So earlier this month, I picked up Fariydrop’s Platinum waterproof type T2 mascara and I have to say, I really like it. Film type mascara always look great once I apply them but not long after the curl falls out and my lashes disappear. So I have to use waterproof mascaras, and this one holds my curl all day. I especially love the brush, it’s dense and really catches all the lashes. I do wish this was more of a deeper bolder black but I’m willing to over look that because of how well it holds a curl.

Since I’m wearing a waterproof mascara pretty much every day now, I need to use a heavy duty make up remover. Cue Bifesta Eye make up remover, I’ve used their wipes before but they weren’t good for removing waterproof mascara. So I decided to try their eye make up remover which is a bi-phase (one you shake) lotion that effortlessly remove my mascara. Love it.

What are your favourites for March?

Thank you for reading,

Alanna
