NARS Digital World Lip Pencil Set

The NARS Digital World Lip Pencil Set is a set of 5 travel lip pencils, some are colours from the regular collection and some are limited, and there is a mix of satin and matte finishes.

I saw this on Vivanna does make up’s blog, and knew I just had to get it when it was released. I love lipsticks, especially bright lipsticks and I have wanted to try NARS’s lip pencils for a long time, but couldn’t pick a colour (there are so many!).

So I checked the released dates and took a mental note. (It was released here in mid November just so you know.)

After the disappointment, I felt when Rhianna’s MAC collaboration sold out pretty much instantly here, as this was limited edition too, I was very paranoid about this selling out.

People are mad for limited edition stuff here!

I am just ecstatic I have this in my collection, I had heard so many good things about the NARS satin and matte lip pencils, and they don’t dissapoint. This set was a great chance to try the products and see how they worked on me. I love the range of colours, feels like there is something for everyone, and they are so easy to use. I love bright lipsticks, but they can be a bit of a pain to apply, you need a lip liner, a brush..etc. With these you don’t need anything, just line your lips with the pencil and fill in. Fool proof!

Price wise, the set cost about the same as two full sized NARS pencils, so that about ¥6000 with tax.

The travel size doesn’t bothers me since I doubt I would ever use an entire full pencil anyway.

My only dislikes are the lids, they don’t feel very secure and feel like they might come off in my bag.
