Another week gone, and another week in photos post, thankfully after a very busy December and January, things have quieten down recently.

Monday I met up with some friends for some sushi and karaoke. It was a beautiful 90’s cheese fest, love it. I ate so many pieces of eel my friends renamed me Eel-anna:O. It was my favourite though.

Since I recently realised I have enough lipsticks to wear a new one everyday for a month, I decided to do just that and began my “lipstick a day challenge” on Tuesday.

It snowed again in Tokyo on Thursday but it didn’t settle:(. On my way home from work, I found this amazing pudding daifuku mochi. So delicious!! Daifuku is mochi filled with a sweet filling, usually anko (red bean paste) but this one was filled with creme caramel.

I met up with Stasia on Friday, for a chilled afternoon of burritos and shopping.

I was hit with a horrific headache on Saturday but alas I was already at my destination for the day: the Gudetama Cafe with Ashley, Siobhan and Kathryn. Despite the headache it was a lot of fun. In the evening Ksk and I went out for his belated birthday meal. Since Ksk loves all things Italian, I took him to an Italian restaurant recommended to me by my Italian friend. He was very happy to eat good food, drink good wine and chat with the staff :).

For lunch on Sunday I met with Sarah for vegan food, but the restaurant we wanted to check out was closed :O. Thankfully Sarah knew of another place we could try and we ended up having amazing hummus and falafels instead. I miss falafels and hummus so much.

Have you tried Daifuku?

Thank you for reading, Alanna
