Week in photos #25 – Lazing in the park and the most delicious pizza.

After the week before’s jam packed weekend, I’ve been trying to keep a low profile recently.

Monday meant one last dinner with Mitsu and the girls (Nicola, Madeleine, Astrid and Siobhan) before Mitsu left for Japan. As I finished work early, I met up with Mitsu for some wandering and an epic quest for gift bags. After we’d finally found the bags (we went to many different floors at Loft) , we meet with Siobhan and headed for Spiral Kitchen in Shibuya. This very stylish little eatery is nestled in between salaryman-esq ramen and yaki tori shops, and the pizza (anchovy and garlic) and Engrish were amazing! I’m still thinking about both!

Mitsu gave me an amazing purple Sephora lip cream lip stain and a bar of the the most amazing chocolate ever! Thank you!! ❤

I met with Ksk and his best friend on Sunday for some coffee at one of our favourite cafes, Sarutahiko. Followed by an afternoon of lazing in the sun at the park with plum wine and ponzu crisps, HEAVEN. The weather that day was perfect, exactly like the best summers day in the UK. I also met up with the lovely Shell for a quick coffee and a chat.

Ksk, his best friend and I finished off the day with some curry at our favourite Indian restaurant.

Ahh take me back! I don’t want Japanese summer to come, it’s my least favourite season, full of mosquitos, sweltering heat and humidity :(.
