This last week was a lot quieter then my previous weeks, which was a nice rest. I do like being social but somethings it’s good to just do nothing or very little at all.
Arrived at work on Monday to find the extra screen I had asked for, had arrived and was all set up. So currently my desk looks like this, plus a mouse. I ought to personalise my space a bit more. Any ideas?
This week’s nails were OPI Eurus Euro, a beautiful deep blue, during autumn I’m drawn to darker colours.
I am a bit late to the red cups game, but in all honesty I wasn’t all that interested in their seasonal offering of snow maple whip flip what ever it is. It sounds like I might get diabetes in one sip, instead I opted to try the gingerbread latte. It is sooo good. I am biased of course as I love ginger and gingerbread. I do think it’s my favourite drink from the seasonal line up.
For dinner, Ksk cooked ginger pork. Eh, I really like ginger!

I can’t even remember what I did on Tuesday. Worked and then meet with Ksk for ramen I think. On the way home though, I do remember stopping to buy tiramasu. I love tiramasu, it’s one of the few desserts I really like, but it’s difficult to find one that ok in Japan (this one is ok by the way) I found Waitress food in Aeon too!!

Wednesday was another quiet day, in the office we tidied and put up some of our Christmas decorations….. no it’s not too early in my opinion.

Thursday was mine and Ksk anniversary, so in the evening we went out for dinner. We ate delicious sashimi ,tuna jaw and I drank umeshu (plum wine), which I hadn’t drunk for a while. A perfect evening :).

On Friday, Ksk cooked pepata di cozze e vongole Ksk style, which was very good, but he’s cooking always is. This was particularly delicious, personally I loved all the extra green vegetables he included.

What an epic day, Saturday was! Ksk, his best friend and I took what felt like and must have been a 5 hour walk from our house all the way around Ebisu and Hiroo. We just meandered with no particular destination in mind, which is my favourite way to walk.
Coffee, Christmas illuminations, autumn leaves and finally Ksk best friend took us to a Indian restaurant near his house, which might have been the best Indian food I’ve had in Tokyo yet. Great day!

Exhausted from the day before, Sunday was an lazy day of cleaning and studying. I walked all the way to Gotanda Starbucks only to discover it was closed for renovations..:/ Eventually I got my study incentive; a gingerbread latte and settled down to study. While studying, an elderly gentleman started talking to me randomly in English about his life and mine. I love those kinds of random encounters :).

What’s your favourite thing about Autumn?
Thank you for reading.
