I have fallen in love with Chia seeds, and have been putting them in my smoothies and overnight oats:O. Sooo good.

Saturday 20th June, was the midsummer solstice and I joined Kathryn and Siobhan and their other halves for a picnic in Yoyogi. We essentially joined the Swedish group of people celebrating midsummer, which was interesting. The weather that day was just utterly perfect :(. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay long and had to head off for a birthday celebration in Kamata.

Look at the adorable props Kathryn brought for the picnic :O

If you like gyoza, Kamata is a place to visit. They have lots of restaurants and specialise in the winged gyoza. So before the birthday celebrations, we grabbed some gyoza…all the gyoza? haha.

On Friday I meet up with my friend, Melli. Twice. Originally we planned to go shopping and then grab lunch with some other friends. We also met up again in the evening for an impromptu dinner and wine.

Honourable mention to this accidental tweet :D.

What’s your favourite gyoza?

Thank you for reading.
