Hmm, this post is predominantly food. But I guess that’s normal.
Saturday 4th July was date day XD, Ksk and I had lunch at Bikini Tapa in Shibuya, a delicious Spanish cuisine place. I love Mediterranean foods and paella is one of my favourite dishes. Afterwards, we went on a quest to get glasses for me. Mine are over 3 years old and the actual glasses I wanted were ££££££:O, so I wanted/needed to look for a cheaper alternative.

It felt like the rainy season properly began on Monday, I kinda like the rain to be honest and in the beginning the weather was quite cold, which I also liked. Now? ..now its hot and humid, even when it rains :(.

I picked up this disappointing coffee mook (magazine/book) on the way home, along with a new study book.

Tuesday 7th was Tanabata (七夕), the day two stars can finally meet and wishes come true. But only if the weather is clear, and unfortunately this year it was not.

Went to the British pub on Wednesday. I miss British pub culture, I can’t go to them often here because they’re either smoky or crap :(.

Thursday 9th, I was woken up by the postman and he gave me a package from home :D. Always lovely to receive a little slice of home and this box was extra special as it was filled with souvenirs as well as things I had requested from home. Later that day I received a load of adorable Gudetama merchandise from my friend and in the evening, I attended a farewell dinner for my coworker. We had Korean, we often have Korean food at work events. I like Korean but I cant’t handle the spice :(.

Finally Friday, Ksk and I both felt like eating pasta for dinner so headed to a place that sells Japanese inspired pasta (和風- wafuu) and since Micaela mentioned earlier that day that it was Natto Day, we picked up some natto omelette too. It was so good, I am biased since I do like natto anyways, but this really worked well. I haven’t had it in omelettes before, why not though? I gladly add it to yaki soba, and curry, and omelette seems like an obvious choice to me now but I’ve never done it.

Anyone tried natto? or made a wish for Tanabata?
Thank you for reading.
