Another week and another post. It’s crazy hot in Tokyo right now, unbearable at times. With temperatures in the 30s! As I write this it’s 28c :O at 12am.

So Saturday 11th of June, I attending a BBQ and afterward we headed to a lovely retro styled izakaya.

When ever I see an interesting drain cover, I have to take a photo. And Japan has so many!

After work on Sunday, I met up with Ksk and we had a date day. Wandering around Ebisu and had some disappointing but pretty pancakes.

Last year, Magnolia Bakery opened up in Omotesando, I wanted to go but there were crazy queues. On Wednesday, Siobhan, Kathryn and I met up and intended to go to Q-pot Cafe. Intended.

We got there and found it closed, which lead to plan B, checking out Magnolia Bakery. Thankfully, there are no queues and it was pretty empty inside. I guess because there was a new Hawaii place next door and everyone was queuing for Ice Monsters (Taiwanese Shaved ice) down the street. Seriously. Everyone.

But, yeah, we finally got to go. I have had Magnolia cupcakes before but I’ve never been there before :D.

Naturally we checked out Kiddyland afterwards. Well, it would have been rude not to! So tempted to buy the Gudetama selfie stick, so tempted.

And Friday, Earl Grey and Peach cocktail, strange but delicious.

What’s your favourite cupcake flavour?

Thank you for reading.
