What I think my neighbour is doing #8

Sorry there was no post last week, I went to Mie prefecture with Ksk and my mother-in-law…..It was fun but I was shattered and felt awful for most of it. I think in total we drove (well, Ksk drove) for about 20 hours and I spent what felt like an eternity in the cookware department, I hate cooking!!!! HATE IT. I would have wondered off but Ksk had no phone that day, so I was forced to stay in my version of hell, surrounded by identical looking pots!

Anyway, for this week’s drawing, I imagined my neighbour and her (fictitious) cat, playing Japanese dodgeball….the best kinda dodgeball in my humble opinion.  I love playing Japanese dodgeball, everyone can play and if you get hit, you’re not out. You just go to the outer edge of the opposing teams square and try and get them out from there. Anyone interested in more info, I direct you to this blog post or this video of a competition (competition dodgeball looks kinda lame thou but it was the best example I could find).

When I worked as an ALT, I always made a point of mentioning that I like dodgeball in my introduction, which in turn got me quite a few invites at lunchtime to join in the kids games. I never threw the ball, since I had the advantage over elementary school kids, but it was always fun to dodge and pass the ball to my team mates.

So yeah, that’s what I think my neighbour is doing and nah, I don’t want to join in.
